LOG: Northborough Man Arrested on Assault Charges
The Northborough Police Department supplied the following information. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Arrests
Chaves M. Douglas, 28, of Northborough, was arrested at 7:01 p.m. on March 4, and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapons and assault. Police were called to the home on Avalon Drive around 6:11 p.m. for a report of a woman requesting police because her boyfriend wouldn’t leave.
Tara Ann McLeod, 20, of Northborough, was arrested at 11:17 a.m. on March 6, on warrants. Police were called to Howe Lane around 10:50 a.m. after Westborough Court reported that McLeod was wanted on the warrants.

William J. Muir, 51, of Milford, was arrested at 6:09 p.m. on March 6, and charged with OUI liquor and cited for marked lanes violation and sending/reading electronic messages. Police were called to Davis Street around 5:30 p.m. for a report of a vehicle off the road. He was later arrested at the scene.

March 4, 2014
- 10:15 a.m. An accident report was sent by mail from West Main Street.
- 10:57 a.m. An accident report was sent by mail from Shops Way.
- 11:23 a.m. A past hit-and-run was reported from Belmont Street/Route 9.
- 3:25 p.m. Police were called to Whitney Street to assist a party in obtaining belongings but were unable to.
- 8:41 p.m. An alarm activation was reported on Shops Way.
- 9:06 p.m. A dog complaint was reported on Whitney Street.
March 5, 2014
- 3:22 a.m. Police assisted EMTs with a medical call on Buckhill Road.
- 9:35 a.m. Police assisted fire with a medical on Shops Way.
- 10:58 a.m. Police were called back to Whitney Street to assist with a property pickup.
- 12:08 p.m. A person reported to police about a past hit-and-run on Lyman Street.
- 12:11 p.m. A two motor vehicle accident was reported on Hudson Street. There were no injuries reported.
- 2:29 p.m. Police assisted with a medical call on Shops Way.
- 4:28 p.m. A Mohawk Drive resident was assisted by EMTs.
- 6:59 p.m. Police assisted EMTs with a medical call on King Street.
- 7:41 p.m. Police were called to assist with a medical on Park Street.
March 6, 2014
- 5:14 a.m. Police assisted EMTs on Whitney Street.
- 9:33 a.m. A Village Drive resident was assisted by firefighters and police.
- 3:58 p.m. A two vehicle accident was reported on Whitney Street.
- 6:36 p.m. A store on Shops Way reported a larceny incident involving baby formula that was taken, with the thief fleeing in a white utility van.
- 7 p.m. Police were called to Davis Street for a report of an animal stuck in a garage.
