LOG: Goats in the Road Cause Problems on Whitney Street

June 25, 2014

  • 8:56 a.m. Police investigated a breaking and entering incident on Meadow Road. According to police, money was taken from the house.
  • 9:57 a.m. An ambulance was sent to West Main Street for a medical call.
  • 10:35 a.m. A dealership on Main Street reported a lost plate to police.
  • 1:06 p.m. Two-car accident was reported to police from April 10.
  • 1:18 p.m. Police assisted firefighters on Fay Lane.
  • 2:12 p.m. A man was arrested on Harris Avenue.
  • 3:21 p.m. Police were sent to Shops Way for a report of a dog inside a car. When the police arrived, the windows were down.
  • 4:05 p.m. Police received calls about a man stumbling around on Hudson Street but the man checked out OK.
  • 4:17 p.m. EMTs were called to Cedar Hill Street for a medical call.
  • 7:08 p.m. A man was arrested on School Street.
  • 10:51 p.m. Police took a missing persons report about a walkaway from a program on Main Street.

  • 1:24 a.m. Police were sent to Maple Lane for a breaking and entering report.
  • 3:56 a.m. Police assisted firefighters were an alarm activation on Shops Way.
  • 6:54 a.m. An alarm activated on Goddard Road.
  • 9:16 a.m. Goats in the road caused issues on Whitney Street.
  • 10:25 a.m. Police investigated a telephone scam on Main Street.
  • 12:14 p.m. A two-vehicle crash was reported on Indian Meadow Drive.
  • 1:08 p.m. Police assisted EMTs with a life assist on Centre Drive.
  • 1:31 p.m. A Village Drive resident requested to speak to an officer about an incident earlier in the day.
  • 2:11 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported on Railroad Drive.
  • 5:24 p.m. Police were again called to Whitney Street for a report of goats in the road.
  • 8:04 p.m. A duck fell into a sewer drain on Main Street but police couldn’t find anything in the area.
  • 9:33 p.m. Police assisted EMTs with a medical call on Rice Avenue.
  • 11:34 p.m. Police were sent to Intervale Farm Lane for a report of a man and woman yelling and glass breaking. Officers checked the area but couldn’t find anything.
