LOG: Elderly Man Arrested for Domestic Assault

Arrests

James Gavin Jr., 72, of Northborough, was arrested at 9:39 p.m. on April 3, on an assault and battery, domestic, charge. He was arrested on Thaddeus Mason Road. Police were called to the home for a report that Gavin allegedly kicked in a door.

April 3, 2014

  • 10:08 a.m. Police were called to Hudson Street for a report of an assault. EMTs transported one to the hospital. A summons will be issued to the party for an assault against a firefighter.
  • 10:42 a.m. A person on Lydia’s Way turned in a found cellphone to police.
  • 12:54 p.m. A Brendon Drive resident found a cellphone on the grass across for the home.
  • 1:58 p.m. A loose dog was reported on Green Street but nothing was there when the police arrived.
  • 2:20 p.m. An alarm activated on Main Street.
  • 2:30 p.m. An Otis Street resident was assisted with a medical call.
  • 3:25 p.m. An officer was sent to Lincoln Street for a person who wanted to file a complaint about an incident at the basketball court.
  • 4:15 p.m. Police were sent to Hudson Street for a report of a person who was drunk. A man was spoken to at the scene.
  • 4:22 p.m. A license plate was found on Southwest Cutoff.
  • 5:06 p.m. Police assisted firefighters with a medical on West Main Street.
  • 5:59 p.m. A wallet was fond on Bartlett Street and turned in to police.
  • 6:04 p.m. A woman alleged that her boyfriend hit her on Belmont Street/Route 9.
  • 6:54 p.m. A dog complaint was filed on South Street.
  • 7:04 p.m. A Sunset Drive resident met with police and alleged that an ex-boyfriend was taking the mail.
  • 7:15 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported on Belmont Street/Route 9.
