We were fortunate that the Northborough-Southborough Public Schools hosted an emergency management workshop this summer attended by over 100 local educators and public safety officials. Much of the information shared was relevant to today’s incident. We have a strong student safety network in our towns consisting of teachers, administrators, guidance counselors, social workers, police, fire, and other community members. The safety of our children is of paramount importance and is deeply embedded in our policies, procedures, and practice.

I am pleased to provide the following two resources from colleagues that you may find helpful in responding to the needs and questions of our students and your children. As always, if you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.
