CRIME LOG: Worcester Man Charged with Larceny, Assault

The following information was supplied by Northborough Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Northborough Police Department released the following information from recent police logs.

Arrests

  • Mustafa O. Muhammed-Ighile, 19, of Worcester, was arrested at 12:02 p.m. on Feb. 15, and charged with larceny from a person, assault and battery, witness intimidation, and five warrants. The warrants include threat to commit a crime, larceny, breaking and entering, and vandalism. Muhammed-Ighile was arrested on Belmont Street after police were called to the scene at 11:10 a.m. for a report of an assault. In 2013, Muhammed-Ighile was charged with threatening to commit a crime (assault).

Feb. 16, 2014

  • 10:13 a.m. An employee reported a past hit-and-run with a light pole on West Main Street. A white Jeep with an unknown plate reportedly caused the damage.
  • 2:19 p.m. A shoplifting incident was reported on Shops Way.
  • 5:12 p.m. A two-car crash between a Massachusetts vehicle and a vehicle from New York was reported on Belmont Street/Route 9.
  • 11:28 p.m. A woman was transported to the police station after a motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

  • 9:27 a.m. An officer found property on the side of the road on West Main Street.
  • 3:13 p.m. A two-car crash was reported on Southwest Cutoff.
  • 3:18 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported on Otis Street.
  • 3:29 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported on Church Street.
  • 3:59 p.m. A motor vehicle accident between a Massachusetts vehicle and vehicle from Pennsylvania was reported on Shops Way.
  • 5:08 p.m. Police were called to Centre Drive to check on the wellbeing of a woman but she was fine.
  • 5:11 p.m. Police were called to Lincoln Street for a “death investigation.”
  • 6:38 p.m. A vehicle was reported off the road on Ball Street.

Feb. 14, 2014

  • 8:54 a.m. Police broke up a verbal dispute between neighbors about snow removal on Allen Court.
  • 8:58 a.m. A car struck a tree on Otis Street.
  • 2:13 p.m. A wellbeing check was man on Longfellow Road.
  • 4:12 p.m. A caller filed a dog complaint about a neighbor’s dog constantly barking on Country Candle Lane.
  • 4:25 p.m. A Main Street business reported a possible employee theft.
  • 5:30 p.m. Police reported a hit-and-run with a damaged tree on East Main Street.
  • 5:41 p.m. A hit-and-run accident in a parking lot was reported on Shops Way.
  • 6:43 p.m. Police were called to a motor vehicle accident, with injuries, on Lyman Street.

Feb. 13, 2014

  • 8:45 a.m. An accident report was mailed in from Shops Way.
  • 9:05 a.m. Marlborough Hospital reported that a 12-year-old boy was bitten by a dog on Fairway Drive.
  • 11:22 a.m. A car struck a tree on Washburn Street.
  • 8:34 p.m. Police were called to assist firefighters in keeping the peace at a Brewer Street medical call.
