CRIME LOG: Child Abuse was Investigated on Shops Way
The following information was supplied by Northborough Police. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The Northborough Police Department reported the following incidents:
Feb. 19, 2014
- 12:52 p.m. An officer was called to Shops Way for a report of a child being abused, specifically, a woman striking a child.
- 2:39 p.m. A two-car accident was reported on Shops Way.
- 2:48 p.m. An accident report was received by mail from Shops Way.
- 3 p.m. Police were sent to Avalon Drive to check on the wellbeing of a woman who turned out to be OK.
- 3:19 p.m. Police were sent to assist EMTs with a medical call on Beeman Road.
- 4:09 p.m. A Bearfoot Road resident was assisted with a medical call.
- 6:20 p.m. A vehicle struck a median on Belmont Street/Route 9.
