Beavers Blamed For Fallen Tree

A fallen tree on Memorial Drive on Thursday is being blamed on beavers.

Northborough Police received the tree report at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, according to the Northborough Police log.

Police instructed the caller to notify animal control.

On Thursday, at 9:12 a.m., police assisted the fire department with an RUOK resident.

At 9:50 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Elmwood Drive.

At 12:02 p.m., on Main Street, police arrested David Anthony Cintron, 33, of 29 Garden Road, Centereach, N.Y.,and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

At 1:19 p.m., police assisted the fire department with an alarm investigation on Whitney Street.

At 2:12 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Beeman Road.

At 5:09 p.m., police received a report from Shops Way of a dog locked inside a vehicle with the windows closed. An officer checked on the dog, and found that it was fine.

At 6:21 p.m., police received a report from South Street that a cat was struck. The cat was deceased when police arrived. Police asked the highway department to pick it up.

At 6:48 p.m., police arrested Brian M. Walsh, 24, at his home at 277 Dudley Oxford Road in Dudley. Walsh will be arraigned Friday in Westborough District Court on the charges of larceny over $250, and larceny from a building

At 8:05 p.m., police received a report from Hudson Street: the caller alleged that her roommate was stealing money from her.

On Friday, at 12:04 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical at Belmont Street at Route 9.
