About $7,500 in Copper Gutters Stolen From Library

Ten total copper downspouts were taken from the library.

About $7,500 worth of copper gutters was reported stolen from the Northborough Free Library on Tuesday, Northborough Police Lt. William Lyver Jr. said Wednesday night.

Ten total copper downspouts were taken from the library, at 34 Main St., Lyver said: four completely, five partially, and one copper bracket.

Library Director Jean Langley reported the incident, Lyver said. The incident was reported at 1:11 p.m., according to the Northborough Police and Fire log.
