1 Charged With Assault and Battery

A Northborough resident was arrested after an incident on Rice Avenue Thursday night.

Northborough Police charged Diana R. Penney, 31, of 175 Rice Ave., with domestic assault and battery after the incident, which was reported at 7:36 p.m., according to the Northborough Police log.

On Wednesday, at 8:48 a.m., police received a report from South Street that a contractor found a firearm in a wall.

At 11:18 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Bartlett Street.

At 11:29 a.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a loose dog near the road. Police notified the animal control officer.

At 1:53 p.m., police assisted the fire department with an alarm activation on Main Street.

At 3:54 p.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a two-car motor vehicle accident.

At 4:29 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Bartlett Street.

At 4:30 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a child locked in a car on Milk Porridge Circle.

At 9:49 p.m., police received a report from South Street of a dog barking.

On Thursday, at 2:48 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a medical on Washburn Street.
