1 Arrested For Drunken Driving

A Shrewsbury man was arrested for drunken driving in Northborough on Sunday night.

Northborough Police charged Stephen Edward Rist, 51, of 49 Boylston Circle, Shrewsbury, with operating under the influence of liquor, according to the Northborough Police log.

The incident happened on Lawrence Street at 7:29 p.m.

At 11:20 a.m., someone on Howard Street reported a light pole damaged and leaning.

At 11:22 a.m., police received multiple calls of a dog running in the road on Northgate Road. The animal returned home on its own.

At 1:38 p.m., police received a report from Southwest Cutoff of a minor motor vehicle accident with no injuries.

At 2:08 p.m., police received a report from Lawence Street of an erratic plow driver.

At 2:56 p.m., police received a report from Church Street of a two-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries. McFee and Newton was called for a tow.

At 4:39 p.m., on Interstate 290, police issued a complaint to a driver who will be summoned for unlicensed operation, a stop sign violation, and driving without a license in possession. McFee and Newton was called for a tow.

At 5:39 p.m., someone on Green Street reported that a vehicle struck a deer. Police checked the area, and found nothing.
