What Did You Tell Your Kids About 9/11?

This past Sunday was an emotional day for many, and there were also many kids learning of the events of Sept. 11, 2001, for the first time. What did you tell them?

Wednesday's here, and we're asking that you talk. Talk amongst yourselves, but here, on Patch. Northborough Patch is inviting you to join the conversation. Help your circle of friends. Help build a community of support for mothers and their families right here in Northborough.

Each week in Moms Talk, our Moms Council of experts and smart moms take your questions, give advice and share solutions. We'd love for you, too, to submit a question. If you have ideas, send them to charlene.arsenault@patch.com. If we pick yours, we'll send you a Patch magnet.

This week, we'd like to hear from parents and caregivers about how they shared the events of 9/11 with their kids. Did you watch TV shows commemorating the event? Did your kids ask questions? How old are your kids, and at what age do you think they are old enough to understand and handle hearing about a terrorist attack?

We'd love to hear your thoughts about this one. Please post them below.
