It’s getting dark earlier, it’s cooler in the evening, and school is back in session. These are sure signs that fall is upon us.

Just because summer is ending, your family fun never has to stop. Here are some fun fall things in the area to do:

Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, Ellsworth Park on Route 135/South Street is where you should be as the festivities continue with a concert and BBQ and plenty of fun activities. Pumpkin Picking/Kids Classes: Pumpkin patches are waiting for you already due to the great pumpkin weather conditions we have had this season. Looking for a new pumpkin patch? Try Fat Moon at Meadowbrook Farm, 5 Gould Rd. in Westford. They do have limited hours, so be sure to contact them for the schedule. Fat Moon also holds some great playgroups and classes for young kids this fall.
