BEST BETS OF THE WEEK


Where/When: , 160 Flanders Rd., Westborough, Saturday, April 16, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: The hunt is on for 2,000 eggs. Enjoy free hot dogs and snacks, a moon walk, face painting, crafts, games and more. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishables for donation to local food banks, with the goal of collecting 2,000 pounds of food. There is no charge for the event or for any of the activities. Anyone in need and unable to bring food is encouraged to come to the event and enjoy a great time. The event is open to everyone in Westborough and surrounding communities.

DROP IN CRAFT
Where/When: Northborough Free Library, Friday, April 15, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Why Go: invites families to drop in, make a craft and take it home. Stop by any time between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and make your own planet earth, frame it and take it home to display on your wall.
Pricing: Free

ANNUAL HEALTHY KIDS DAY EVENT
Where/When: , 4 Valente Drive, Westborough, Saturday, April 16, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: To have some family fun with activities including field-day games, kids' obstacle course, jumpy house, face painting, zumba and karate classes, cow-chip bingo, nature crafts and more. Entertainment will include an hour-long show by Mike The Bubble Man, “Holy in One” miniature golf by Holy Cow Ice Cream and storytelling by local author Carol Weis. The whole family will be inspired to live healthier and more active lives.
Pricing: Free and open to the public.


Where/When: , 160 Hollis St., Framingham, Sunday, April 17, 3-5 p.m.
Why Go: Because it's safe to say everyone likes to laugh. Vaz and Duval are the two most popular performers at this monthy show. See comedic characters, dancing, singing, clowning and other surprizes. Visit the Amazing Things Arts Center website for tickets or call 508-405-ARTS (2787).
Pricing: $12, $11 (seniors and students) and  $10 (members)


Where/When: , 120 Worcester Rd., Framingham, Sunday April 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Full brunch menu, from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., includes a traditional English breakfast with live blues music from 1-4 p.m. Regular menu will also be available, and don't forget the Bloody Mary.  Every Sunday at the BBC through June. This week's blues act is The Stubbies.
Pricing: It depends on how hungry you are and how many Bloody Marys you order.
