1. Tickets are on sale now for the Northborough Community Affair Committee's Annual Winter Ball, happening at the end of January at Organizers urge folks to reserve their tickets by this weekend. The easiest way? Stop by o pick up your tickets. At $50 each, it includes appetizers, dinner and dessert. You can reserve a table for 10 by emailing your list of names to Virginia at firstname.lastname@example.org. The event also includes a silent auction, as well as live music by the band Radiance.

5. The is back. Tonight. These dances happen once a month (October through May) at the Unitarian Universalist Church right here in town. According to Ken Bennett, a contra dance regular, "there are maybe 10 to more separate dances lasting around 10 minutes apiece."
