MarlboroughJohn T. Harrington, 92, died peacefully on Saturday Feb. 16, 2013, with his family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

He joined the United States Army and fought in both WWII and the Korean War. John was a awarded a Purple Heart Medal for being wounded in the line of duty and retired from active duty after serving more than 20 years in the military. After leaving the service, he went to work for the City of Marlborough in the water department.

ShrewsburyO. Margaret (Frey) Larson, 96, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Milford, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 in the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab. Center.

In her 30's, she was one of the first 101 people to make a full recovery from Lukemia. She was the subject of an article published in a medical magazine regarding her recovery. Doctors at New England Medical Center who specialize in blood disorders have used it for their case studies.

MarlboroughTrevor K. Page, 43, passed away on February 12, 2013 after an illness.

Page was part owner of the family business, Butternut Farm Golf Club in Stow.

NorthboroughJoyce (Raymond) Gray, 67, beloved wife of Richard Gray, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

She retired in 1997 after working for Volmer & Associates, Gannet Flemming, and Modern Continental where she served for nearly two decades as an inspector and project coordinator for bridge, tunnel, and road construction operations across New England.

WestboroughFlorence (Sullivan) Gazzaniga, formerly of Granite Bay, CA, The Sea Ranch, CA and Cambridge died quietly at the Notre Dame Extended Health Center in Worcester, MA on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the age of 82.

Florence was a registered nurse for many years. She later was a leading realtor for Coldwell Banker in Sacramento, CA. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and interior decorating.

NorthboroughSusan M. (Michalak) Duquette, of Northborough and Centerville, formerly of Shrewsbury, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at home with family gathered by her side after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 58.

She taught one year in Northborough at the Melican Middle School and then for over 14 years as a teacher at Shrewsbury High School.

MarlboroughLorraine G. (St. Laurent) Evers, 82, of Marlborough died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Kindred of Marlborough.

Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was a quality control inspector for the former Digital Equipment Corporation in Marlborough and Hudson.

Shrewsbury — Katherine A. (Healy) Wickman-Wiles, of Shrewsbury, died at home on Sunday, February 17, 2013. She was 73.

She worked at Riley-Stoker Co., the City of Worcester and for Scott Associates in Clinton before retiring.

MarlboroughCarl A. Ledoux, 88, of Marlborough, a quiet and gentle man, died at his home on Valentine's Day.

He attended Marlborough High School, where he was known as Lefty Ledoux and lettered in football. He was proud to join the US Navy in 1943 and served honorably in the Pacific during WW II.

ShrewsburyEleanore M. (Amoroso)(McAllester) MacCombie 90, a resident of Southgate at Shrewsbury and formerly of Framingham, Natick and Wayland, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab Center.

She founded the non-profit organization, “The National Celiac Sprue Society”. Through her groundbreaking work, the medical field became more aware of Celiac Disease.

MarlboroughLeo A. Kelso, 58 of Marlborough, MA, died Wednesday, Febraury 13, 2013,at Marlborough Hospital, after an illness of many years.

NorthboroughVirginia (Ginny) Elizabeth Enright McDonald, 80, beloved wife of the late William E. McDonald, mother, grandmother, sister to the late Walter Enright of Pittsburgh, PA, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend, died on February 13, 2013 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA after a series of illnesses.

In 1999, Ginny moved to Northborough, MA where she served as a board member and was an active community member of the Intervale Farm Lane Association and a communicant at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

MarlboroughClifford W. Bowles, 74, of Marlborough, MA, died February 16, 2013.

Bowles retired in 2002 from the Framingham Public School System, where he had been employed as a Math teacher in the town's middle schools for 36 years.

ShrewsburyAntony Rathinam passed away on Monday February 18, 2013 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center at the age of 74.

Rathinam was born in India and was a college professor at Loyola College. After his retirement he came to live in Shrewsbury. He enjoyed singing and playing various musical instruments.

MarlboroughVenita T. (Parizeau) Simoneau, 90, of Marlborough, Ma, died peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at The Coleman House in Northborough with her loving family by her side.

She worked at Marlborough Hospital in the anesthesia department and was a Mental Health Assistant at Westborough State Hospital for many years, retiring in 1980.

MarlboroughJ. Kenneth "Ken" Carter, 98, of Marlborough, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Coleman House, Northborough.

Carter served in the US Army, where he was stationed in France, Holland and Belgium during WW II.

ShrewsburyPaul S. Kozakevich, of Shrewsbury died peacefully on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence in Worcester with his loving family at his side.

He was employed by ITT with a team of engineers and technicians with a license to build and produce transistors. He was a pioneer in semi-conductor products and worked with Bendix, RCA, Burroughs, Tung Sol and Sprague on many different products and hybrids circuits.
