MarlboroughKatherine "Kay"A. (Lane) Brooks, 86, of Marlborough, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 surrounded by members of her loving family after a period of failing health.

After receiving a Certification in Special Needs from FSC, she started teaching at JFK Middle School in Hudson, MA, as a Learning Disabilities Tutor, first part-time then full-time.

WestboroughHenry F. “Harry” Lindsay, 85, of Westborough, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the UMass- Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

Lindsay was a 1945 graduate of Westborough High School and was a member of the WHS 1945 State Championship Football Team.  He entered the U. S. Navy in October of 1945 and served on submarine service based in New London, CT and was honorably discharged in October 1948.

ShrewsburyLorraine G. (Ibsen) Hayden died on February 1, 2013 at 85.

She graduated from Hillhouse High School in New Haven. On April 15, 1950 she married her childhood sweetheart, Clayton O. Hayden and they resided in Wallingford, Connecticut before moving to Vestal, New York in 1956 where they resided for 49 years.

NorthboroughGeraldine (Tripp) Francesco, 83, of Northborough died quietly on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at Auburn Life Care Center. Born June 14, 1929 in Westborough, she was a resident of Northborough for 57 years.

Geraldine worked for many years at the former Granger’s Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide.

MarlboroughJames R. Lewis, 76, of Marlborough, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester.

Lewis served in the US Navy aboard the USS Albany.

MarlboroughPaul S. Smith died on Wednesday January 30, 2013 at 69 years old.

WestboroughVivian C. Moore, 93, of Westborough, died peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough.

MarlboroughSr. Regina Sullivan, RGS died on Saturday February 2, 2013 at 87 years old.
