Written by Sam Bonacci, Marlborough Patch local editor Natick — Joseph A. Poshefko age 97, of Natick died Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home. He worked as raw laborer building road in the mountains in the mining regions. He then joined the depression era Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). He was then selected to join the Army Air corps and was stationed at Langley in the 30's. His grand adventure started when he was recruited to join Central Aircraft Manufacturing Company. After receiving an honorable discharge for the Army Air Corps he was sent to San Francisco to become one of the first members of the famous AVG Flying Tigers. Grafton — Genevieve S. ( Wojtanek) Parenteau, 83, died peacefully at home Monday July 8, 2013 in the love and care of her family. Genevieve began working at the former Whittall Rug Co. in Worcester and then with The Comm. Of MA DMH for 20 years at Grafton State Hospital and then at The Irving R. Glavin Regional Center in Shrewsbury, retiring in 1980. Marlborough — Dexter Brigham, 90 of Marlborough, MA, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Chelsea Soldier's Home, Chelsea, MA. A graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1940, Mr. Brigham served in the US Air Force. He retired in 1980 from Alcan Aluminum in Marlborough, where he had been employed for many years as a warehouse manager. Shrewsbury — Subhadra Rambhatla, of Shrewsbury, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 in UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester. She was 81. She was born on September 13, 1931 in Enugumahal, Andrapradesh, India a daughter of the late Subbanna Gannavarapu and Parvatamma Karra and immigrated to the United States in 2002 to be closer to her children. Grafton — Deborah Ann Keith, 59, died on June 9, 2013 from complication of COPD. She was born on July 12, 1953 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was a devout Christian who loved and served her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Rev. Joel B. Keith; she is survived by her husband Barry and son and daughter in law Jay and Jennifer Keith. Marlborough — Ann M. Beauks, 95, formerly of Marlborough, died Tuesday morning after a long period of failing health. Beauks graduated from the former Worcester Trade School and went to work for the Norton Corp. for many years. She then went to work for the Fenwal Corp. as an assembler for 32 years, retiring in 1979. After her retirement she volunteered as a companion for the elderly for 11 years. Natick — Pamela Annette Davies, age 55, a former longtime Natick resident, died on Monday morning, July 8, 2013, after a short illness. Born in Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Grenville and Betty (Harvey) Davies. Pamela was a 1975 graduate of Natick High School where she enjoyed playing softball. Throughout her life she had a great love for horses. Marlborough — James N. "Jimmy" Metivier, 56, died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home. He was the husband of Tina (Lambert) Metivier. He was born in Marlborough, the son of the late Donald and Pauline (Tremblay) Metivier, and lived here all of his life. Metivier served as an officer of the Marlborough Police Department for over 25 years before having to retire due to injury. He was a member of the Marlborough Eagles, riding with the clubs "Eagle Riders," raising money for many local charities.
