Free Summer Concert Series

The Northborough Community Affairs Committee is pleased to announce the return of our free Summer Concert Series for 2014.  All concerts will be held Thursdays at Ellsworth-McAfee Park (Rt. 135) from 6-8 pm.  Mark your calendars for our exciting line up of bands, food vendors, and children’s entertainment.

Thursday, July 10 – Windfall  6 – 8 pm
Rain date: Sunday, July 13, 5 - 7 pm
Windfall is a classic rock band playing artists from the 70's and 80's.  Northborough House will be selling pizza & sandwiches and the Face Fairy will be available for face painting.

Thursday, July 24  - Beatles for Sale 6 – 8 pm
Rain date: Sunday,  July 27, 5 - 7 pm
Beatles for Sale is an award-winning, New England-based Beatles tribute band that is committed to recreating the sounds of the Beatles live in concert.  The Knight of Columbus (St. Augustine council) will be holding a cookout and Fran Flynn Magician Extraordinaire strolling entertainment.

Thursday, August 7 - The Hub 6 – 8 pm
Rain date: Sunday, August 10, 5 - 7 pm
An 8 piece band that performs throughout England playing current pop music.  Northborough House will be selling pizza & sandwiches, and Fran Flynn Magician Extraordinaire strolling entertainment.

Thursday, August 21 - 3rd Man Factor 6 – 8 pm
Rain date: Sunday, August 24, 5 - 7 pm
3MF takes the musical styles of artists from many different genres, including the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, and Dave Matthews Band and mashes them into one intensely jammin' sound. The Knight of Columbus (St. Augustine council) will be holding a cookout and Wes Abusamra will be available for air brush tattooing.
