Love Never Fails

Thought  – July 21, 2014
Human relationships can be difficult at times. Everyone has their own way of thinking, their own goals and dreams, and because of this, when it comes to families, you have to believe that NO ONE in your family is going to think like you. For sure, trying to keep peace within family members can prove one of the hardest journeys we take in our lives. Still, we can take that journey together as families if there is love among ourselves.

It is funny how even as we age, we find that the only times we wish to gather together and show our love for one another is when someone is celebrating something, getting married, when someone is dying or at their funeral. Why is this? We all come from the same “gene pool,” have the same relatives and for the most part claim to follow the same God.

Love seems to be a dying emotion among the generations, past and present. Yet love is something all of us crave. We crave tender actions by other…not sex…but a warm smile, a hug from time to time and to know that others love you for who you are and find you important. Our mothers have a special way of offering us the love we need to get started in our lives and her love is vital in helping to teach keep the cycle of this love moving within family members and then in loving our neighbors.

What about you? How valuable to you feel love is, especially a mother’s love, when it comes to being able to establish human relationships? Share your thoughts with us…Jeanne Claire Probst

Love Never Fails

Love never fails despite how we were raised and what we have been through.
Becoming a mother, will show you all the things being a “mother” should do.
Love may teach discipline but does not harshly scold,
Love draws you close to each other, it is not cold.

Love thinks of the needs and wants of others,
Love puts others first, especially if you are a mother.
Mother’s arms can reach around the world, wherever her children may be, Mother’s open their ears and heart when their children need to talk about the things they need.

Mothers are not perfect, as we all know,
But when they fail to give the love their children need, to be better than our own mothers without own children, we aim others to show.
A mother’s love, along with her children, should always grow. T
his love would guide the choices and paths a child may wish to go.

Anyone can have a baby, but not all women prove to be “mothers,”
Even if they keep having one child after another,
A mother’s love will never fail, And if a child learns this from his birth, he will cherish this gift, and love will continue to prevail.
