Troop 101 Sells Just Over 1,200 Wreaths

The proceeds will support the troop's activities.

Wreaths now adorn many Northborough homes, thanks to Northborough Boy Scouts.

Troop 101's annual wreath sale was held Saturday. Scouts went door-to-door in uniform over six hours with the wreaths, which were $10.

Just over 1,200 wreaths were sold, Troop Committee member John Clark said Monday.

The proceeds will support the troop's activities, according to Troop 101's website, which described the holiday decorations as "freshly made balsam wreaths" that  "are on a 12" frame (about 16" overall) decorated with a festive red bow."

Residents could have their wreath delivered, or pick it up at the Melican Middle School.
