Old Northborough Bank Building
The Town of Northborough was the first in the region to open a bank. The Northborough State Bank was organized in 1854. The original bank building is on Main Street near the town center. It was constructed in December of 1854 at a total cost of $2,351. As can be seen from the new photograph, the building has remained largely unchanged since its construction.
