An Eagle Scout service project will help local homeless cats.

Eagle Scout candidate Daniel Hogan has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $650.

The funds will buy the materials to organize, repair and paint an equipment storage shed used by the non-profit Cat Rescue of Marlborough and Hudson.

"Currently the shed is in pretty rough shape and needs general repair as well as shelves and other organization fixtures installed to store equipment," Hogan wrote on his GoFundMe page.

Hogan's campaign had raised $500 as of 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

"The completed project will really help CaRMaH in their mission to continue to help find homes for local homeless cats," he wrote.
