Flemish Floral Design

The Northborough Garden Club will meet Tuesday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northborough Senior, 119 Bearfoot Road. Club member Diane Guldner will discuss the historical components of Flemish Floral Design as she assembles an arrangement typical of the ones created in the 15th-16th century. These beautiful arrangements were used by bulb growers to advertise their wares and were often captured by Flemish painters of this period. Refreshments will be served.
