Based on a book by George Furth, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, this musical comedy was nominated for a record-setting 14 Tony Awards, winning six. It tells the story of Robert, a 35-year-old, single man who is unable to fully commit to a relationship, let alone get married. In a series of vignettes, he learns from the five couples who are his best friends, as well as his three girlfriends, what relationships are all about. Directed by Josh Telepman, with music direction by Stephen Tzianabos and technical direction by Elizabeth Cahill.
