Basic Rights in Special Education

For student and working parent/guardian/caregiver convenience, the same "Basic Rights in Special Education" forum is once again being offered in November but this time as an evening session on Friday, November 15 from 6pm-9pm at Algonquin High School.

"Basic Rights in Special Education" is a workshop that provides families with an introduction to their rights and responsibilities under the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), American's with Disabilities Act (ADA), No Child Left Behind, Section 504 and Massachusetts Special Education Law. This presentation is designed to provide basic knowledge parents and students need in order to effectively participate in the special educational decision making process.

All NSPAC events are open to the public. RSVP is appreciated for planning purposes but last minute attendance is always welcomed.
