Assabet Valley Mastersingers will be hosting a
Golf Outing and Dinner at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston on Wednesday, Sept 11, 2013, starting with a 1PM tee time.
The ‘scramble’ format tournament will include prizes for the longest
drive and closest to the pin. There will also be a putting contest open to all.
After the golfing, a dinner at the Clubhouse will include entertainment
by the Assabet Valley Chambersingers, a 16-voice a cappella group which sings selections of jazz, Pop and classical arrangements. Participation in the golf
outing is open to all at $130 per person or $500 per foursome and includes
dinner. Dinner guests are also welcomed
at $35 per person. Signup for golfing

The Mastersingers hope that this
golfing fundraiser will provide financial support for the upcoming 36th
season and draw attention to the fine quality of their concerts. In November the 2013-2014
Season opener will feature one of the best loved and most popular of all choral
works—A German Requiem by Johannes Brahms with professional soloists
and orchestra. Through the use of
personal, expressive music, Assabet Valley Mastersingers is dedicated to
enriching the quality of life in the Assabet River Valley through the
performance of the classical masterworks.
