Northborough's Christmas Services

For those seeking a church service this Christmas season, here are some options in town.

Rice Memorial Baptist Church has a traditional candle light service on Christmas Eve starting at 6:30 p.m. This includes a reading of the Christmas story, hymns and a reception following the service. 

Rev. Cynthia Maybeck leads a "Service of Light" on Friday, Dec. 21, at Trinity Church for those who grieve a loss, are in need of healing or are in pain at Christmas time. Trinity Church also offers a Christmas Eve family service at 7:30 p.m. and a candle light communion service at 11 p.m.

A candle light service is held at 8 p.m. at the Church of the Nativity on Christmas Eve., followed by a "midnight service" which actually takes place at 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The Christmas Day Eucharist takes place at 10 a.m.

is holding a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. All are welcome to an intergenerational service of Christmas carols, readings, musical selections by the choir, and a Christmas Eve message from Reverend Judith. After the service, gather in Parish Hall for refreshments.

Christmas masses are held at St. Rose of Lima on Dec. 24 at 4 and 6 p.m., and at midnight on Dec. 25, as well as another at 10 a.m. Note: there is no mass on Dec. 26.
