5 Things: Happy Toilet Day!

Tonight, the town opens up the BYOB discussion to the public.

1. "The purpose of the session is to provide an opportunity for the public to provide input regarding a proposed policy for a “Carry-In Wine & Malt (BYOB) Permit," wrote Jeff Amberson, the board's clerk, in the notice.

2.Speaking of the Board of Selectmen, did you miss Aaron Hutchins on the Phantom Gourmet radio show last week? If you did, you should definitely make some time to listen to the clip, which you can find here.

4. It's Have a Bad Day Day today, and World Toilet Day, according to brownielocks.com. We're not sure if the two are related, but certainly could be.

5.Did you go to the Friends of Northborough Recreation '80s prom on Saturday night? If so, we'd love for you to share your photos with us. Load 'em right here and we'll feature them on the Patch page.

No one ever brings their own brain (BYOB) to the Selectman meetings.

This is a no brainer folks. For bring your own bottle just issue license for wine and beer. For the others issue an "all liquor license" meaning all spirits, wine, beer, other alcohol (rye, scotch, gin, etc.). Could it be that the Selectmen did not think this all the way thru. They only had a 100 years to deliberate. BYOB!
