State-of-the-Art Life Sciences Center Leaves Northborough, Moves to Westborough

The building has been vacant for six years.

A state-of-the-art Life Sciences Center of Excellence will open in Westborough this spring in a building vacant for six years.

Pall Corporation will move its Northborough facility's employees and operations into the 113,000 square-feet center at 20 and 26 Walkup Drive, the life sciences firm said in a press release Wednesday.

Westborough selectmen recently approved parking lot improvements for the site following a site plan review public hearing at Westborough Town Hall.

"The Westborough complex will serve as a proving ground for new technologies and applications development and will be designed to lead customers through the sequential stages of process flow," according to the release.

"The center also will serve as a training facility for both Pall employees and customers."

Pall spokesman Doug Novarro declined to reveal the project's pricetag.
