My husband and I go to the Steakloft often. We enjoy sitting at the bar, meeting new and old friends. Friday nights they usually have live music (makes for a fun atmosphere0 Caroline is always around checking to make sure you are happy. Laura and Kelly are great bartenders. The food is excellent. Mark knows how to grill a steak. The crabcakes are tastey too. The parisian steak (nice cut with crab meat) is rich and delicious. I highly recommend it.....See you there. Fran

My family has frequented The Steakloft since it opened. The decor could use some freshening but the food and service is always excellent. I enjoy the daily specials but my favorite dish is the Scallops Rockefeller. This entree is served over a bed of your choice of pasta with a creamy white sauce that has some bacon and spinach. The portion of scallops is generous and are small to medium sized so that they are always tender. The scallops are cooked to perfection. The bar offers a small but respectable selection of beer on tap as well as bottles. Prices are reasonable with the cost of a martini with premium gin about $9 and beer around $4. I would differ with the above statement the cuisine is no frills American. I think that the kitchen attempts a more upscale menu while keeping prices moderate.
