Casa Vallarta Planned at Celtic Tavern
Selectmen will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on a request to transfer the all-alcoholic beverages restaurant license.
A new restaurant is planned at the Celtic Tavern, which has been closed since a fire last June.
Details about the new Casa Vallarta should be announced Monday night.
Selectmen will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on a request to transfer the all-alcoholic beverages restaurant license at 45 Belmont St. from Celtic Tavern owner CJ Restaurant Enterprises LLC to Los Cuates Inc., which would own Casa Vallarta, according to Northborough's website. The hearing will be held at the Northborough Town Hall Offices.
The Celtic Tavern has been closed since last June, when a fire that originated from a mulch bed caused extensive damage.
