New Coffeehouse Series Postponed; Town Gathers to Support John Middleton's Family

Due to the death of well-known resident John Middleton, the new concert series sponsored by the recreation department is postponed so that folks can attend the LalaJava fundraiser.

"It is with a heavy heart," wrote Allie Lane, director of the Northborough Recreation Department, "that I am writing to let you know that we have to cancel the Saturday night Coffee house event."

So as not to compete with the LalaJava event and allow support for these efforts, the recreation department has canceled the start of the new music coffeehouse series called the "Bearfoot Music Series." The series, which was set to begin this Saturday with a performance by Nibot Nolsen at the Northborough Senior Center, will be rescheduled at a later date.
