Library's Week in Activities Includes Duct Tape Class

Who knew duct tape could be a creative device?

Everyone loves duct tape. You can repair anything from a car to a shoe with it, and you can even turn it into art. On Friday, July 26, the library has "an afternoon of duct tape creations" from 1-3 p.m. Tape and instruction books are supplied, and it's open to teens entering grades 6 and up.

That's not it for events during the week of July 22 to July 27.

On Monday, July 22, there's a father-son book group for kids in grades 1-3, giving the guys a chance to read Operation Yes by Sara Lewis Holmes together.

Listen to books in your PJs the evening of Tuesday, July 23, and on Thursday, July 25, there's a preschool storytime.

Here's the full list of events and descriptions.

Some events during this week have already sold out, including Music with Carrie and Christmas in July. It's always worth giving the library a ring for cancelations if you'd really like to attend.
