Updated: Snow Prompts Closings, No Sports

The snowy forecast has begun affecting plans in Northborough on Tuesday.

The Core Connection Pilates and Fitness, 290 West Main St., has cancelled its evening classes, according to its Facebook page.

T. Rose Karate Dojo, at 386 West Main St., has cancelled classes, according to its Facebook page.

Dawn's School of Dance, at 243 West Main St., has cancelled its evening classes, according to its Facebook page.

The Diane Cournoyer Dance Center, at 329 West Main St., has cancelled classes, according to its Facebook page.

The Skribbles Learning Center, at 172 Otis St., will close at 3 p.m., according to its Facebook page.

Naturally Chiropractic/YogaPlus Studio, at 38 Southwest Cutoff, has cancelled its afternoon and evening classes, according to its Facebook page.

All Algonquin Regional High School sporting events set for Tuesday have been postponed due to the snow.

The freshman, JV and varsity boys basketball teams were to travel to Groton-Dunstable. The varsity swimming team was to face Bromfield at the Clark University pool.

The events have not been rescheduled, according to the Midland-Wachusett League website.

The National Weather Service forecast has Northborough receiving two to four inches of snow Tuesday, mainly after 10 a.m. 

The agency has issued a winter weather advisory from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
