Rice Memorial Open for Prayer Tonight
Prayer for Newtown, CT takes place on Friday at Rice Memorial.
Pastor Stephen Georgeson has announced that the Rice Memorial Baptist Church will open on Friday, Dec. 14, for prayer for the tragedy in Connecticut.
The church will open from 7-8 p.m. for anoyone who may wish to stop in to pray for the families, teachers, students and first responders involved in Friday's horrific tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
"In times like this, sometimes we just want to get together and grieve with one another...or just with God alone," said Georgeson. "There will not be a program, just a time to absorb what happened, and to do so in a quiet sanctuary."
