Northborough Planning Board Meets Tuesday Night
Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.
It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Learn about Destination Imagination.
An information session will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Northborough Free Library.
2. Attend the Northborough Planning Board meeting.
The board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Northborough Town Hall Offices.
3. Root for the Tomahawks.
Here is Tuesday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:
- Boys cross-country: vs. North Middlesex, 3:30 p.m.
- Girls cross-country: vs. North Middlesex, 3:30 p.m.
- Freshman field hockey: vs. Algonquin, 3:30 p.m.
- Golf: at Nashoba, at Twin Springs Golf Course, 3:30 p.m.
- Freshman boys soccer: vs. Westborough, 3:30 p.m.
- Freshman girls soccer: vs. Westborough, 3:30 p.m.
- JV boys soccer: at Leominster, 4 p.m.
- JV girls soccer: at Leominster, 4 p.m.
- JV volleyball: at North Middlesex, 4 p.m.
- Freshman volleyball: at North Middlesex, 4 p.m.
- Varsity volleyball: at North Middlesex, 5 p.m.
- Varsity girls soccer: vs. Leominster, 5 p.m.
- Varsity boys soccer: vs. Leominster, 7 p.m.
The Northborough Senior Center offers it at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

In celebration of National Talk Like a Pirate Day, Northborough Free Library children's room staff member Rebecca Bookhout read pirate stories on Saturday.
