SatinWood Presents the Legendary Songs of Harry Chapin
Where/When: Amazing Things Arts Center, 160 Hollis St., Framingham. Saturday, April 2 at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Original Chapin bandmates Big John Wallace and Howard Fields join the folkrock band SatinWood for an evening of Harry's storysongs. Chapin's fight to end hunger in America has continued since his passing in 1981 and he was posthumously awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 1987 for his humanitarian work. The show will feature Harry's classic hits "Taxi," "Cats in the Cradle," "WOLD," "Mr. Tanner," "A Better Place to Be," "Bananas," and many more concert favorites.
