Fire Department Hosts Toys for Tots Again

The fire station is, again, the official drop-off for toys.

Last year, residents dropped off more than 600 gifts to donate to the Toys for Tots program in Northborough. This year, Fire Captain Robert Theve hopes to meet or exceed that number.

The Northborough Fire Department is, once again, the official drop off for donations to the Toys for Tots program, which is run by the USMC Reserve.

New toys for donation should be non-violent, unwrapped and in the original packaging for ages 1-16. The toys can be dropped off during normal business hours through Dec. 18.

Toys can also be dropped off at the Northborough Free Library and the Town Hall.

Theve said that anyone in need this season should contact him at 508-393-1537 and he can talk to those in charge of the recipient list.
