Controversy is St. Bernadette's Second Since Spring

The new allegations that Fr. Stephen Gemme stole $230,000 from the St. Bernadette Parish and school mark the second controversy involving the church since the spring.

This summer, the Northborough parish revoked its membership in the Worcester Art Museum.

The museum had, after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, posted a congratulations to the gay community and a reminder that it welcomes gay weddings.
