A Record Year for Annual Emerson Hospital Auxiliary Golf Tournament

The Emerson Hospital Auxiliary raised more than $60,000 with another sold-out field of 148 participants in the 15th annual golf tournament held recently at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord. Since its inception, the event has raised nearly $1 million to fund patient care services at Emerson Hospital.

The tournament included several contests, including a chance to win the grand prize of a Lexus, courtesy of Lexus of Northborough, with a hole-in-one on the 17th hole.  The day also featured many other great prizes and raffles, as well as an exciting helicopter ball drop at the conclusion of the tournament. Five hundred golf balls were dropped from a helicopter and Ernest Efeterbia of Danvers, who had purchased the ball closest to the pin, won a cash prize of $1,000.
