Special Town Meeting Warrant is Available

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Check out the Oct. 28 special town meeting warrant.

The warrant is posted on Northborough's town website.

2. Make book pumpkins.

The Northborough Free Library holds a book pumpkin program from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

3. In case you missed it: St. Bernadette Parish pastor resigns.

St. Bernadette Parish pastor Fr. Stephen Gemme has resigned amid allegations that he stole $230,000 from the Northborough church and school, the Rev. Robert J. McManus,  bishop of Worcester, said in a letter to the parish this weekend.
 
4. The Northborough Water and Sewer Commission meets Tuesday night.

The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in the Northborough Town Hall Offices.

5. Root for the Tomahawks.

  • Golf: at varsity league match, at Ellinwood Country Club in Athol, 9 a.m.
  • Boys cross-country: vs. Westborough, 3:30 p.m.
  • Girls cross-country: vs. Westborough, 3:30 p.m.
  • Freshman field hockey: at Westford Academy, 3:30 p.m.
  • Freshman boys soccer: vs. Marlborough, 3:30 p.m. 
  • Freshman girls soccer: vs. Marlborough, 3:30 p.m. 
  • JV boys soccer: vs. Nashoba, 3:30 p.m.
  • JV girls soccer: vs. Nashoba, 3:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys soccer: at Nashoba, 5 p.m.
  • Varsity girls soccer: at Nashoba, 7 p.m.
