It's Friday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. Check out the Purple Rose's new rug show room.

2. Try painting in watercolors.
The Northborough Senior Center offers a watercolors painting class at 10 a.m. Friday.
3. Root for the Tomahawks.
Here is Friday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:
- JV boys basketball: vs. Shrewsbury, 3:30 p.m.
- JV girls basketball: at Shrewsbury, 4 p.m.
- Freshman boys basketball: vs. Shrewsbury, 4:45 p.m.
- Varsity girls basketball: at Shrewsbury, 5:30 p.m.
- Freshman girls basketball: vs. Shrewsbury, 6 p.m.
- Varsity boys basketball: at Shrewsbury, 7 p.m.
4. In case you missed it: a new bistro is coming to town.
C'est La Vie Bistro on Main Street will be at 30 Main St.
5. Get Vitamin C.
