Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Tuesday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Freshman boys basketball: at Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity swimming: vs. Bromfield, at Clark University, 4 p.m.
  • JV boys basketball: at Groton-Dunstable, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity boys basketball: at Groton-Dunstable, 7 p.m.

2.  Congratulate the Central Mass. All-Stars.

The Eighth Grade Central Mass All Star Football Team placed third at the recent national tournament in Orlando, Fla. Northborough's Patrick Boyle and Brett Casellini, and Southborough's Isaiah Keegan, were on the team.

3. Fifth-graders, discuss a book.

The Northborough Free Library's Fifth-Grade Book Club will discuss "Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief," by Wendelin Van Draanen, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the library.

4. Check out these photos.

The Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce has posted photos of its 2013 Holiday Business After Hours on its Facebook page.

5. In case you missed it: Community members' holiday shopping on Saturday supported the Northborough Girl Scouts.
 
The scouts held their annual holiday shop at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church.
