Play Bingo at the Northborough Senior Center

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Wednesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Play Bingo.

The Northborough Senior Center offers Bingo at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

2. Help a Libertarian candidate.

From the Northborough Libertarian Town Committee's Facebook page: "Well, election season is right around the corner! Candidates can start getting out there collecting signatures in the next few weeks, so if you or anyone else wants to help out our candidates across Massachusetts either locally or not then let us know!"

3. Attend the combined school committee meeting.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Algonquin Regional High School library. The school calendar and the school superintendent search are among the discussion items.

4. In case you missed it:  Subscribe to CodeRED.

CodeRED replaces Reverse 911, which hasn't worked in Central Mass. in years, Town Administrator John Coderre told selectmen.

5. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Wednesday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • JV girls ice hockey: vs. Auburn, at Morgan Skating Arena, 3 p.m.
  • Freshman girls basketball: at Wachusett, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity wrestling: vs. Monty Tech and Nashoba, 4:30 p.m.
  • JV girls basketball: at Wachusett, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity girls ice hockey: vs. Auburn, at Morgan Skating Arena, 5:30 p.m.
  • Varsity gymnastics: vs. Medfield, 6 p.m.
  • Varsity girls basketball: at Wachusett, 7 p.m.
