Pick a Peach; Ice Cream Social at St. Rose

Listen up! Here's what you need to know on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

1. Have you read the "Friends Who Commit Fraud on Your Tab" blog post by David Heroux? Heroux writes, "I happen to have 150+ friends and acquaintances who are self declared illegal in the USA. They live in Framingham, Marlborough, Northborough, Westborough, Shrewsbury, Milford and Worcester for the most part."

2. The deadline to apply for grants from the Community Preservation Act is coming up. The deadline is Aug. 15, to be exact. 

3. On Wednesday, Aug. 14, St. Rose of Lima hosts a candlelight prayer, mass and ice cream session with students in middle school and high school from 5:30-8 p.m. It's followed by a Mass for the Feast of the Assumption, and ice cream social. 

4. Pick your own peaches are in full swing this week at Tougas Family Farm. Best way to find out the top picking times and days? Visit the Facebook page, where the family posts updates religiously.  

5. Church of the Nativity is getting a group together for a free night out to the Pawsox. Want to join them?
