Host a French Exchange Student

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Wednesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Play Pickleball.

The Northborough Senior Center offers Pickleball at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Town Hall Gym.

2. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Wednesday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Varsity field hockey: vs. Westborough, at 3:30 p.m.
  • Freshman field hockey: at Westborough, at 3:30 p.m.
  • Golf: vs. Hudson, at Juniper Hills Golf Course, 3:30 p.m.
  • Freshman boys soccer soccer: at Nipmuc, 4 p.m.
  • Freshman girls soccer soccer: at Nipmuc, 4 p.m.
  • JV field hockey: vs. Westborough, at 5 p.m.
3. Write a Letter to the Editor.

4. Host a French exchange student.

Algonquin Regional High School French Club President Thea Hickey tells Northborough Patch that host families are needed for some of the 32 French exchange students visiting Northborough for two weeks in October. For more information, contact Hickey at theanicoleh@hotmail.com.
