Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Thursday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Visit the Peaslee Elementary School.

The school's Welcome Back Night is at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.

2. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Thursday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Golf: vs. Groton-Dunstable, at Juniper Hills Golf Course, 3:30 p.m.
  • JV girls soccer: at Hudson, 4 p.m.
  • JV boys soccer: at Hudson, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity football: vs. Shrewsbury, 7 p.m.
3. A Northborough business gets a new floor.

Naturally Chiropractic/YogaPlus Studio has a photo of its new studio floor on its Facebook page.

4. Northborough saw a temperature record on Wednesday.

The town hit 93 degrees, according to AccuWeather. Northborough's previous high for Sept. 11 was 91 degrees, in 1983.


5. Decorate your locker.

A locker accessory and decoration program will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Northborough Free Library.
