Author Gives Workshop at Peaslee on Tuesday Night

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Learn Flemish floral design.

The Northborough Garden Club hosts a presentation on it at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Northborough Senior Center.

2. Meet an author.

Author Ralph Fletcher will discuss how to support young writers at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Peaslee Elementary School.

3. Learn about special education.

The Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council holds a "Coffee and Connect" session from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Northborough Free Library.

4. Attend the Northborough Planning Board meeting.

The board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Northborough Town Hall Offices. Discussions of proposed zoning amendments for the 2014 annual town meeting are on the agenda.

5. In case you missed it: Boy Scout Troop 101 sold wreaths on Saturday.

The proceeds will support the troop's activities.
