Attend the Northborough School Committee Meeting

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Meet candidates for state representative.

Northborough Republicans are sponsoring the gathering, which runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at JJ's Sports Bar and Grill.

2. Attend the Northborough School Committee meeting.

The board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Melican Middle School library. A recommended increase in full-day Kindergarten tuition is on the agenda.

3. Play b
oard games.

The Proctor Elementary School offers Board Game Buddies at 1:45 p.m. Thursday.

4. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Thursday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Varsity alpine skiing: vs. TBA, at Ski Ward Ski Area, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity boys indoor track: at Shrewsbury, 5 p.m.
  • Varsity girls indoor track: vs. St. John's of Shrewsbury, at Shrewsbury, 5 p.m.
  • Varsity gymnastics: vs. Westborough, at Mass. Gymnastics Academy Center, 7:30 p.m.
5. In case you missed it: Don't bet on a medical marijuana dispensary coming to Northborough.
