Attend Algonquin's Open House

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your day in Northborough.

It's Tuesday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Northborough to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Congratulate Alexander Kriz.

The Northborough resident and Wheelock College sophomore finished 14th at last Friday's Daniel Webster College Eagle Invitational at Mines Falls Park in Nashua, N.H., according to Wheelock Director of Sports Information Alan Wickstrom. Kriz ran the 8-kilometer race in 32:24.

2. Root for the Tomahawks.

Here is Tuesday's Algonquin Regional High School sports schedule:

  • Boys cross-country: at Fitchburg, at Coggshall Park, 3:30 p.m.
  • Girls cross-country: at Fitchburg, at Coggshall Park, 3:30 p.m.
  • Varsity girls soccer: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • JV girls soccer: vs. Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity boys soccer: at Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • JV boys soccer: at Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • Freshman boys soccer: at Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • Freshman girls soccer: at Groton-Dunstable, 4 p.m.
  • Freshman volleyball: vs. Westborough, 4 p.m.
  • JV volleyball: vs. Westborough, 4 p.m.
  • Varsity volleyball: vs. Westborough, 5 p.m.
3. Visit Algonquin Regional High School.

The school holds an open house at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

4. Go line dancing.

The Northborough Senior Center offers line dancing at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

5. Test your trivia skills.

The senior center offers Tuesday Trivia at 1 p.m.
